Cardinal red double flowers with numerous petals. Hybrid. Flowers look like large flowers of P.delavayi (one of its parents) Stamens are few, with pale yellow anthers and short red filaments. Carpels, pale green with purple crozier shaped stigma. Midseason. To 75cms
